About C-fit
Conservatives for International Travel (c-fit) is a grass-roots campaign by Conservative activists that seeks to campaign for the party to do everything in its power to support mass international travel.C-FIT believes that international travel is a fundamentally positive thing, allowing individuals and families to see the world, increasing environmental and humanitarian awareness and allowing businesses to thrive in an ever more global marketplace.
To this end, we believe that a future Conservative government should promote mass international travel through minimal taxes on aviation and ensuring that government supports airport expansion.
We believe this is not only a socially right approach, but a Conservative approach that supports freedom for individuals, families and businesses.
While individual supporters of c-fit are likely to have strong opinions on the specific policies government should adopt, c-fit takes no corporate view. For example, on the issue of Heathrow expansion, c-fit is totally committed to ensuring the airport capacity needs of London and the South East are met quickly, but we welcome discussion on the expansion of other airports and the creation of new airports as alternatives to Heathrow.
C-fit is not a subsidiary of any other company or lobby group and is completely independent of the Conservative Party.
